Tour de Coops is part of a national grassroots effort to educate people about urban livestock. Most people that own poultry (chickens, duck, geese, turkeys, etc.) also do vegetable gardening. Besides being fun to watch, poultry provide ethically-raised eggs, compostable manure, eat discarded kitchen scraps and control pests.

The tour will allow you to get up close and personal with a variety of urban livestock and be able to talk to the owners and get more information about becoming a coop owner.
